What a 40-minute session looks like

The story (5 min)
Students read a short original story that ends on an unsolved problem — vanishing chocolates, a lying compass, a disputed race finish. The story creates the reason to build.

The build (25 min)
Teams of 4–5 follow step-by-step build instructions to assemble a working device from simple local materials. The facilitator guide gives the teacher every prompt, every likely student question, and exactly where to probe deeper — so the teacher leads the science conversation, not just supervises the assembly.

The moment (10 min)
The buzzer buzzes. The alarm goes off. Students explain what they built and why it works — the exit assessment is embedded in that conversation. Every student takes the build home.
Who we are
Sunil Pappu — IIT Kharagpur engineer and former Executive Producer, National Geographic Channel. Produced 100+ hours of science television including Nat Geo Junior Hunt and Science Mein Twist. Writes the stories and the engineering.
Anamika Gupta — UNESCO MGIEP specialist with 8 years building digital learning programs across 10 countries. Trained 500+ educators. Writes the pedagogy, facilitator scripts, and assessments.
In-house focus group: Kairav (Grade 6) and Kaveer (Grade 3) at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad. Every module is tested at home before it goes to a school.
